Hey, so guess what?! I’m sitting at the Coffee Bean, right off campus (and I’m supposed to be doing homework for my online class) and I thought I’d pull up the blog – this is the first time since I left school that I tried to pull it up and it WORKS! I’m thrilled. 
Jen, thanks for the snide remark regarding my posting (or lack thereof)…
Let’s see: quick overview of life – minus the story of a lifetime, I’m still not over it, but I promise I’ll share it with you later this summer. So we had some training, I go in once or twice a week and work with my supervisor on some random project (he’s this awesome little puerto rican gay guy and lots of fun), and otherwise I work in a bunch of different departments. I finished up in VIP Services on Wednesday (the day that Kenny Chesney checked into a $5,000/night room [which is really like a whole house, they call them villas] as he’s performing here this weekend – he didn’t actually check in with the VIP desk, it was a curbside so I didn’t see him…BUT (and this is funny, to me) Uncle Kracker, who’s opening for KC, did check in at the VIP desk – his real name is Matthew Schafer, in case you wanted to know). At any rate, I’m going in to Valet Operations tonight and I’m working swing shift (from 4pm to midnight – ew), but hopefully there’s tips involved?
Last night, we went to see “O”, the Cirque du Soleil show at the Bellagio. By “we”, I’m referring to the only other Bellagio intern, Eric. Our supervisor hooked it up and got us both 2 tickets in row F – these thickets sell at about $170 a piece. The show was AMAZING: I know a little bit about how everything works because we had a 3 hour property tour the other day and the woman giving us the tour took us in there and gave us a mini explanation. But it was WAY rad.
At any rate, I really need to do this homework and get a bunch of other things taken care of, so I’m off! I’m glad I finally managed to make contact with you guys!! 
I’ll tell you the car story and post pictures hopefully later this weekend or so.
…oh, and I miss you all. It’s weird to not have you guys around all the time.
