1) I moved last weekend. While most of you have also moved in the last month (okay, more like all), I moved a grand total of 5 miles. It was long and grueling and I’m so glad I hired someone to do the furniture (not like DO the furniture, but…yeah whatever). It’s pretty awesome- nice place. ONE complaint. Being downstairs sort of sucks. One of the people upstairs gets home at like 2am EVERY FUCKING NIGHT and stomps around for a while before loudly getting freaky with the other one. Now they’re having a party. I was NEVER this annoying EVER when I lived upstairs for three years. Right?
2) The night after we cleaned up the old apartment (never that clean, my god), I was getting ready for work the next morning and found that I had presumably left my STUPID WALLET at Fresco’s when I bought dinner for everyone. What the hell? I contemplated calling in sick. Yeah…I totally should have.
3) Monday was the worst day of work I’ve had in forever. I made dumb mistakes, had to deal with the doctor from hell, and then BOTH patients decided to go south a little. I had three other RNs helping me! I felt like I had cried all day.
4) Wow, STOP WALKING UPSTAIRS PEOPLE.
5) Then, I had a weird day on Tuesday, finally finished unpacking for the most part on Wednesday, had another frustrating day at work on Thursday, was bored to TEARS on Friday after having coffee with an old friend until I got my NEW COMPUTER because the other crapped out on me.
6) But today? Today was good. I worked and I didn’t want to cry. I didn’t even mind being there. Home? Who cared! I was hanging out with people I like hanging out with and had patients that weren’t going into atrial fibrillation or had a hypertensive episode and had to be intubated. It was GOOD.
7) And so there’s my week. In a nutshell. I’m pretty happy I get to take the next two off.
Love to hear from you guys- free most of tomorrow and Monday.

Hello Friends!
I must apologize for my absence over the past two weeks. I left Phoenix last Thursday morning and I didn’t have my personal internet set up until… this Friday. However, things are great now because my internet is stable! Haha. And now, I’m sitting on my couch in my underwear, updating! Don’t hate!

(I didn’t take the picture… oh, well)
The move went really well. My mom and I had a good time driving through desolate Nevada and Idaho is such a beautiful state. We drove through this amazingly gorgeous area called the Salmon River and quite honestly, it was so breathtaking. I almost jumped out of my car to run into to the woods. But, it was very nice just driving along, listening to Death Cab for Cutie. My mom and I stopped at this little fruit stand and bought the most delicious cherries I have ever eaten.
We got to campus on Friday night (earlier than anticipated) and unpacked my car. We spent Saturday exploring Moscow (pronounced Mos-CO, not Mos-COW) and we drove over to Pullman. My building is approximately two miles away from the Washington border which is pretty cool. The University of Idaho and Washington State University are only eight miles apart, which means I have two college towns to pick from. And, I can like being all like “So, I went to Washington this weekend”. And, I ran across the state line yesterday! I’ve never run across a state line before!
I drove my mom to Spokane on Sunday which is a pretty short drive. I wish I would have stayed behind and explored the city a bit, but oh well. It’s not like I’m not going to have time here or anything.
The first week of work went really well. I’m feeling confident and I know that I can do a good job. Of course, I’m still worried about my first week on call, the first week that students are here, the first incident, etc. but, I really think I can do it and that confidence is super important to me. Oh yeah, and dressing semi-professionally is fun! I think I overdress a bit (as compared to my Co), but whatever. I LOOK CUTE, okay?
So, yes. That is my life update. SHOUT OUT TO THE BIRTHDAY PEOPLE! Jen and Mia, I need your summer address so I can send you goodies for Idaho. Huckleberry jam might be included, just so you know.
Bianca, hook a sister up! I love reading your entries and I think you looked especially cute in your Housekeeping uniform!
And finally, Jen, in your last entry you hit the nail on the head. I would be Paula Deen. I wish I had the Food Network here.
OH! P.S- MIKE the British coach staying with my family totally loves me! We went out to the Library on Mill on Tuesday before I left with another coach (Kevin) and we had an amazing time. Pretty much Mike and I just talked while we watched Kevin get really drunk but it was super fun! And guess what… he’s a tall, blonde haired, blue eyed white guy! HOW WEIRD!
Also, Chris Walker and I got into a big fight (I think I view it as a fight and he is all like, whatever) and I stood up for myself. HOOORAY!
Okay, I’m going to go take a shower or watch America’s Best Dance Crew.
I love you all! TAKE CARE!
