This guy:
lives in my apartment complex. And, despite his inadequacies in the Spanish language, he looks quite nice without a shirt on.
Also, because it’s June 15 the monsoon season “started” today. While there’s no chance of rain and I had to remind myself that I’d die of starvation this week if I didn’t go grocery shopping today in order to get myself into my furnace of a car, the clouds have arrived. Dark ones. August ones. It excites me. But, even so. We’re on our last roll of toilet paper and there’s no way I’m going to Target right now. I’ve met my car quota for the day.
I’m going to go lie down on my couch with a glass of water and not move for a couple hours.

Seriously, people. We need to update more. My days off should not be spent attempting to write my thesis or clean my apartment. It needs to be spent reading updates! Please oblige and give me some procrastination material!
My week was kinda cool, actually. I’m so much better at poking people now, but it’s still sorta scary when faced with someone who has basically no veins to speak of or skin that closely resembles paper. Seriously, I don’t know how anyone ever gets any specimens from these people. Next week, I’m back on the unit and hope to have some actual interesting stories to tell. The lab isn’t incredibly exciting. Thank goodness I’m back to three 12s next week and get my biggest paycheck of my life.
Be glad you guys are in milder climates. It’s 104 today and brutal. I feel like I get melanoma by just stepping outside my apartment.
Off to the Rec! Hope you all have marvelous weekends and that I get to hear about your weeks soon!
